One must travel far while loving one’s home.
— Guillaume Apollinaire
They call life a road, with its turns and stops. When they ask me what my plans are I usually answer: I’m moving soon. First time it was hard — I was sixteen when I left my hometown. Then I started enjoying it and eventually became addicted. My road brings me to inviting places full of joy. It is a quiet journey — I do not belong and I do not possess. I remember rooms I have stayed in. They were never mine but sometimes I loved the views from the windows. There is not enough time to become disillusioned. When it starts happening I leave.
I hope I will not stop.
